Whilst expanding into the American market, it became clear that it was the land of the car not the motorcycle so Honda launched the Civic, which offered a much more economic option for customers as opposed to the inefficient competition and was a roaring success. Since then Honda have also become known for their high performance vehicles and their ability to apply their expertise into other fields whilst always effectively interpreting what customers need.
