Delivery & Returns

UK Delivery
Orders placed by 10am Mon - Thurs will be allocated for next working day delivery on all stock items only (*excluding Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays). A 'Dispatched' status e-mail indicates your order has now been released for delivery.

Please be aware, orders placed after 10 am will be processed on the next working day. We do everything we can to meet the delivery times specified in this section. However; delivery times may occasionally be affected by factors beyond our control and cannot be guaranteed (Terms & Conditions apply). We will inform you if we become aware of an unexpected delay. We source our products from within Glyn Hopkin group stock and that of the manufacturer, this can add one additional day before your order will be dispatched.

*Orders placed between Friday 11 am - Monday 11 am will be delivered on Tuesday, subject to stock.

We use a fully tracked courier services for UK deliveries, a signature will be required upon delivery. We will only ever leave a delivery with a neighbour if unavailable as an alternative option. However; this is at our discretion and a signature will be required.

Important: The option to re-arrange a delivery with our chosen courier via the internet or telephone, such as an 'alternative address' or 'leave in the porch' etc. is done so at your own risk. Not having the item signed for deems the consignment becoming the responsibility of the purchaser as soon as the courier has left the item.

An E-MAIL or TEXT will be sent to specify day of delivery, should you have provided us with your contact details. For those customers who are unavailable on the delivery day, a second attempt will be made the following working day. UK deliveries attempted for delivery twice and unsuccessful will be returned to us the sender. We reserve the right to impose a levy of an additional charge to re-arrange a further delivery. Any additional instructions to the carrier must be agreed by Glyn Hopkin Online Shop.

Note: Please thoroughly inspect all items upon delivery, if any items appears to have damage to the packaging. Please note this with the delivery person and contact us via e-mail: parts@glynhopkin.com. Should a product need to be returned due to a missing part or faulty part then we will offer a full refund or replacement, provided we are aware of this within 24 hours of receiving delivery.

BANK HOLIDAYS (UK)
Please allow an extra 2 working days for delivery to any destination.

UK Next Working Day Delivery is not available to the following locations (however Standard UK 48hr/72hr delivery is): HS1-9, IV1-56, KA27-28, KW1-17, PA20-78, PH19-50, TR21-25, ZE1-10, AB31, 33-38, 42, 44, 45, 51-56, BT, IM, JE, GY, IRELAND

REMOTE AREA LOCATIONS (UK): Some locations are considered remote areas by the courier companies used, either because they're located in a very remote location, or because they are in an area where deliveries are not made regularly due to being low populated areas. We can still offer a delivery service to these locations, but delivery costs will be higher than that of our standard UK charges due to the higher cost to deliver to remote locations.

UK CLICK AND COLLECT

If you cannot wait in for your delivery then why not try our FREE UK Click & Collect service.
Simply place your order online, selecting the Click & Collect delivery option. Available to the following postcode areas/zones: AL, CB, CM, CO, CT, HP, IP, LU, ME, MK, OX, RG, RH, SG, SL, SS, TN, BR, CR, DA, E, EC, EN, HA, IG, KT, N, NW, RM, SE, SM, SW, TW, UB, W, WC, WD, PE15, PE16, PE19, PE27, PE38.

Remember the branch collection address must be stated in the delivery address fields or alternatively; state the Glyn Hopkin dealership parts department you wish to collect from in the delivery instructions box, at the bottom of the billing & delivery page.

Only orders paid in full with the collection branch stated will be honored. Failure to state the collection branch in the delivery address or order reference may result in your order being delayed. We advise that you await a dispatched confirmation e-mail before going to collect your order. When collecting your order please ensure that you have your order confirmation email (either printed or on your phone), together with the payment card used to make the purchase as Glyn Hopkin reserve the right to see this card before releasing the goods. If Third Parties are collecting goods on your behalf, they must have a copy of the order confirmation email. Glyn Hopkin reserve the right to ask to see photo ID, such as a valid photo card driver’s licence or passport which will be photocopied by the store before the goods are released.

All Click & Collect orders will be held in branch for 5 days. If you would like us to hold your order for another 5 days please contact us via e-mail.

Note: Please thoroughly INSPECT all items once collected. Should a product need to be returned due to a missing part or faulty part then we will offer a full refund or replacement, provided we are made aware of this within 24 hours of receiving delivery. UK MAINLAND SATURDAY SERVICE
We do not currently offer a Saturday delivery service.

HIGHLANDS AND ISLANDS & NORTHERN IRELAND
2-3 working days. We use a fully tracked service for all our standard deliveries and a signature is normally required.

PO & BFPO
No deliveries are possible to PO box addresses. BFPO deliveries may be possible, but we request that you enquire via e-mail in the first instance.

SURCHARGES (European & International)
An additional surcharge may be applied to your order separately after purchasing, due to it's size and/or weight. These items are classified as Over-Sized or Over-Weight pieces and stated on the product information page where applicable. We rely on the weight and dimensions of the packaged product to determine products that require an additional surcharge. A surcharge is only applied once to any applicable order and non-returnable; we will contact you via e-mail to confirm you wish to proceed, offering advice on how to make payment.

 

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
We use fully tracked services for all our International deliveries. Please note:

  • All of our delivery services will require a signature.
  • A working day is referred to as Monday to Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays are not classed as working days.
  • Non UK destinations may be liable for additional Customs and Duty Charges. You will only pay one delivery charge.
  • All International shipment charges are quoted per parcel subject to weight/volumetric weight terms. If your order exceeds the standard parcel size, further shipment charges will be due before the order can be shipped. We will contact you directly with any additional shipment charges due.
  • All products are sold on a Delivery Duty unpaid basis. The recipient may have to pay import duty or a formal customs entry fee, prior to or on receipt. Additional taxes, fees or levies may apply according to local legislation and customers are required to check these details before placing any orders for international shipping.
  • The full cost of your delivery will be presented to you before check out excluding any product specific delivery surcharges applicable.
  • Where you're not a UK resident and you've ordered products for delivery by Glyn Hopkin Ltd to a non-EU address, both the products and the delivery service will normally be zero-rated, with no UK VAT chargeable on either.
  • * Any VAT charged to International Customers will not be refundable.

Remote Area Locations (International)
A Remote Area is defined as a post code or in the absence of post code, a suburb /town name that is difficult to serve. A delivery to one of the following post codes and towns would attract a Remote Area Surcharge. A surcharge is only applied once to any applicable order and non-returnable; we will contact you via e-mail to confirm you wish to proceed, offering advice on how to make payment. International Delivery Pricing
The standard delivery cost will be presented to you before checkout (excluding any additional surcharges, where applicable).

Force Majeure
Glyn Hopkin shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.

UK Cancellation & Returns Policy
If you need to return a product purchased from Glyn Hopkin Online Shop under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel your order within a period of 14 working days. Your right to cancel an order starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive it (effective 13th June 2014). Please be aware that your right to cancel does not apply to certain goods that we sell, for example, products specially ordered that are not in stock, electrical products, tyres and painted/colour coded products. You must inform us of your wish to cancel by email within a period of 14 days beginning on the day after the day you receive your goods. You must take reasonable care of the goods and not use or install them to your vehicle; merchandise clothing must not be worn, other than to check for correct fitment. Authorised returns must arrive to us in their original packaging, including any fixings and instructions, as soon as possible after informing us of your wish to cancel. If you return goods to us, we will not be responsible for any loss or damage to them during transit and we recommend that you use a recorded or secure delivery method. If goods are returned with missing parts, lost or damaged in transit, we may charge you, or not refund to you amounts that are attributable to the loss or damage. We cannot accept substitute or alternative items by way of returns, nor are we able to send them back to you. So please look closely at the items you return to us. If you return or attempt to return substitute or alternative items, you will still be responsible for paying for the original product purchased. Customers are responsible for the full cost of returning goods and advised to use a fully-tracked or courier service to ensure a safe return.

All  return requests must be made to us within the cooling-off period, which starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive it. All returns will require a RETURNS AUTHORISATION NUMBER and a completed returns form, so that we will be able to identify the package. To obtain an authorisation number and returns form, please contact us via email: parts@glynhopkin.com to be issued with one. You will then need to return the product along with the completed returns form to Glyn Hopkin Online Shop within 14 days from authorisation. If the item is not returned during this time period, you may no longer be entitled to a refund. Items returned without a returns authorisation number will be rejected.

The credit amount reflects the purchase price of the item, including the standard delivery charge, excluding any delivery surcharges. We are unable to refund delivery charges for returns of partial orders or unauthorised returns.

Are there limitations to items that can be returned or refunded?
There are items that cannot be returned for any reason. These include:

  • Owners Manuals/Handbooks
  • Electrical Goods, SD Cards or CD-Roms
  • Painted Parts or Accessories (Personalised/Colour Coded)
  • Tyres
  • Touch-Up Paint
  • Special Order Products*
  • Delivery Surcharges (over-sized/over-weight/remote area)

*SPECIAL ORDER products are non-refundable and will be advised prior to ordering via e-mail or noted on the product description. A special order is considered to be any item that is not normally in stock or available online, it was Special Ordered.

This returns policy does not affect your legal rights.

Outside UK Cancellations & Returns Policy
We are unable to accept incorrectly ordered parts and accessories for return from outside the United Kingdom. The responsibility of ordering the correct item is passed to the purchaser. Where possible we will help provide information to help customers make the correct decision. This information will be supplied as a guide only; Glyn Hopkin Online Shop holds no responsibility for your decision to place an order. Glyn Hopkin Online Shop shall accept no liability for incorrect goods purchased by you online for Non-European right-hand drive registered vehicles; due to manufacturing market differences to a vehicle i.e. left-hand drive etc. To minimise the purchase of any incorrectly ordered products, we advise that customers with Non-European right-hand drive registered vehicles email us prior to any purchase: parts@glynhopkin.com Glyn Hopkin Online Shop supplies original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts suitable for the European right-hand drive market only. We also supply genuine accessories for the European right-hand drive market place, unless specified otherwise. Should a part need to be returned due to a missing part or faulty part then we will offer a full refund or replacement, provided we are aware of this within 24 hours of receiving delivery. Delivery costs are non-refundable; customers are responsible for the full cost of returning goods and advised to use a fully-tracked or courier service to ensure a safe return.

Faulty Goods
If the item you received is faulty or incorrect, please contact us by email or by phone on 01708 772866. We will then advise and assist you with the return. Please include as many details as possible about the fault. General exclusions apply to any vehicle parts and accessories which have been subject to the following:

  • Misuse or Negligence
  • Use for the purposes other than that for which it was designed
  • Use under conditions other than those for which it was designed: use outside Europe, use inside Europe of vehicles originally designed for other geographical areas
  • Alteration, conversion, modification

Damaged Goods
Damaged, defective or items that are missing components may be exchanged for a replacement. Please email us within 48 hours of receiving the product and provide us with the following information: Name, order number, part number. Please also describe the issue with the item in question. A replacement product will be issued with the original shipper to be exchanged with your return upon delivery. Failure to have the returning product ready on the agreed exchange date will result in non-delivery of the replacement product and may incur charges. The replacement item will be shipped using the same shipping service selected for the original order. Please note, we cannot accept returns that have been damaged due to incorrect fitment.
